FAQ

Do you offer group Pilates classes?

Yes, we do offer in-person small-group Pilates classes with a maximum of 5 participants. We also offer on-demand Pilates classes that you can do anytime and anywhere.

Do you offer a New Client promotion?

Absolutely! We offer two new client promotions, and we highly recommend taking advantage of both. As a boutique Pilates studio focusing on individualized needs and goals rather than group fitness classes, our new client options provide the best experience and yield the highest return on your investment of time and money. Read more on the getting started page.

Why do you have to do private training before you can join group classes?

At Pilates Cure, we aim to make the biggest impact on your physical well-being. To achieve this, we need to understand your goals and your body. The new client one-on-one sessions help us achieve that. You also get a chance to familiarize yourself with us, our teaching style, apparatus setup, and how to best utilize it for your body. Fitness is not one size fits all; we are here to mentor and teach you how to understand your body better, enabling you to move your best not only in class but also outside of the studio.

How can I register for a class or a new client session?

All sessions are by appointment only. Whether you are registering for a private session or a group class, you can do so from your client profile created in Wellness Living. If you are scheduling a duet or a trio, please email us to coordinate. Create a client profile here.

Do you offer anything other than group classes and one-on-one training?

Yes! We also offer duet sessions (two people), trio sessions (three people), and private group classes (four or more people). For these, you have to email info@pilatescure.com to reserve the studio space and get current price information.

Who can do Pilates?

Pilates is suitable for everyone, regardless of fitness level. From total newbies who may not even enjoy working out to weekend warriors and professional athletes, we can create a personalized workout that improves strength, flexibility, mobility, and posture. We’ve worked with clients preparing for special events, such as weddings or triathlons, professional athletes in the off-season,  to those wanting to feel better and more confident in their bodies daily.

How can I register for a client account?

You can use this link to create a client account in WellnessLiving, our online scheduling app.

What should I wear to class?

We recommend wearing comfortable, snug-fitting clothing with minimal jewelry, and if you have long hair, please pull it up. For men, compression shorts under regular shorts are suggested. Shoes are not worn in Pilates, and for hygiene and safety reasons, you will be required to wear socks with grippers. We recommend individual toe socks with grippers as they allow your toes to move freely. We do have some for sale at the studio if you want to purchase some when you arrive.

How long are your sessions?

All sessions at Pilates Cure are 50 minutes.

Do I need to bring anything?

All you need to bring is yourself, a pair of socks with grippers and possibly a hair tie. We also suggest bringing a bottle of water and possibly a hand towel. If you wish to bring your own reformer handles or reformer mat to the studio, you are welcome to do so.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

We have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Please let us know as soon as you realize you will not be able to make your session. There are no refunds on purchase. Please be sure to check availability and expiration dates before you purchase. If you need any help or have any questions you can reach out via email, text, or phone call.

What if I have injuries, can I still practice Pilates?

Yes, as long as your doctor has cleared you for exercise or Pilates. We suggest taking private lessons to learn how to modify exercises for your injury before joining group classes.

How many times a week should I do Pilates?

We recommend incorporating three Pilates sessions weekly. Recognizing that attending the studio 3-4 times a week may not always be practical, we’ve introduced the Online Studio of Pilates Cure. This platform allows you to have your preferred Pilates Cure instructor readily available, like having them in your back pocket. Now, you can partake in a short or full-length class at your convenience, regardless of location.

Do you offer any memberships?

We offer two memberships. The first is a monthly membership for our one-on-one sessions, where you reserve a specific day and time with a particular teacher each week. This is ideal for anyone seeking consistency in their Pilates practice. Drop-in one-on-one sessions are available for those not interested in the membership. Feel free to email us with any questions, and we can send you the membership agreement to review. Spaces are limited for this membership.

We also have a monthly membership for the Online Studio of Pilates Cure (OSPC). The OSPC is our on-demand video library that houses all our videos for you to do at home or on the go whenever and wherever you want. Read more about it here.

Do you offer gift cards?

We do offer gift cards. Please email us at info@pilatescure.com or text us at 704-577-8038 and we will help you purchase a customized gift card by dollar amount or by service offering. Then we will email you a gift certificate to wrap up if you wish.
